This reading group brings together UU members interested in Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Learning for NLP.

In periods 1 and 2 of 2021-22, the reading group takes place on Thursdays at 15:00-16:30. We meet weekly to

• discuss papers on NLP/CL related topics that are of interest to members of the group
• present on-going work or give practice talks
• go through tutorials (or occasionally to get our hands dirty with some hacking)
• exchange info about our recent research-related activities in a research “round table”.

Please join us if you are a UU member and have an interest in NLP/CL research. We currently meet online on MS Teams. To participate in the meetings, log in to MS Teams with your UU account and join the “NLP” team.
